Our practice encompasses commercial real estate acquisitions, joint ventures, development, financing, leasing, land use, brokerage, and lending. We have experience in working with virtually every aspect and type of real estate project, including office buildings, hotels and resorts, sports facilities, shopping centers, mixed-use developments, energy plants, industrial and research complexes, warehouses, senior housing facilities, planned communities, and multifamily residential projects. We understand the complex issues that are involved in every project and assist our clients in evaluating business, financing and tax strategies, drawing from the firm’s varied legal skills and global know-how.

Our clients include local, national, and international developers, institutional lenders and investors, REITs, owners of sports teams and related facilities, and other traditional and non-traditional sponsors of real estate interests. Our lawyers also perform real estate work for corporate and other clients acquiring or disposing of facilities and acquiring or leasing space for headquarters or other operations. We frequently serve as lead real estate counsel in major corporate mergers and acquisitions and in large-scale energy projects.

We represent both public- and private-sector clients in the development of public/private mixed-use projects. We have experienced lawyers who have been active in a variety of real estate litigation matters. We also have an established practice in the areas of zoning, land use, and environmental law.
