David Martin practices in the area of telecommunications law, with an emphasis on licensed and unlicensed wireless communications. David represents domestic and international clients before the U.S. Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and state regulatory agencies.
Prior to joining Hogan & Hartson, David served as a telecommunications attorney at another Washington, D.C., firm, where he gained experience on a broad range of common carrier regulatory issues affecting both landline and wireless clients. Prior to law school, he served as a congressional liaison on international trade issues at the U.S. Department of Commerce and as a staffer in the Office of Presidential Personnel at the White House. In addition, he has spent time working on a number of political campaigns and teaching English in the former Czechoslovakia.
